3D Home Construction
We are fascinated and excited about 3D printing for construction! We firmly believe that this is an answer to the housing crisis. 3D printed houses can be personalized to almost any design, can be a variety of sizes, and can include a variety of features. They are a sturdy build that we believe will be very affordable as we develop more and more of them.
Building a house this way still involves human input, design, and management, but eliminates much of the difficult work and intensive man hours needed to build a house traditionally. It works by essentially using a very large 3D printer using concrete as the medium. The printer follows the designed path and builds layer after layer until the proper height is reached. When creating the layout, there is space allotted for doors, windows, and any other necessary openings.
